Born with a unique name and passion for serving God & his community; the Rev. Prentiss “Wonder” Harris is a man of many gifts. He has served as pastor of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church of East Moline, Illinois for over 36 years - innovating Christian education by launching A Wonderful Idea, LLC - a business that creates music, books, and other tools that foster effective learning within the church and beyond.
Rev. Harris brings a broad range of real-life, diverse experiences, in providing innovative and affordable solutions to change people’s lives - whether in the church, the home, the family, school system, workplace, or out among the general public.

We are a non-profit organization that, with the help of our members, are working to raise the level of thinking and quality of life of individuals. We strive to reach and teach individuals to overcome false traditions, self-limiting beliefs and rise to their created potential. We believe that truth trumps facts - and therefore, we believe there is a way to learn anything, do anything, and overcome anything.

The Village of a Thousand Elders - is a missionary initiative of The Way Ministries - for developing personal responsibility, effective social skills, and encouraging respect and citizenship of all ages. Our first effort is to reduce assumptions about race and to increase respect between citizens and the police - specifically within the church-located communities that they patrol, serve, & protect.
This is a partnership of The Way Ministries, local pastors, congregations, community elders, families and those who provide public goods, services and safety.
The Way Ministries - is an outreach ministry which reaches others for Christ. The Village of a Thousand Elders is a missionary initiative of The Way Ministries.
